Come Dance, Sing, Lament and Nourish in the Tent of Oil and Spice

January 16-18 | February 27- March 1 | April 17-19
Come to one or all three ~ While the form is the same the theme for each will change

Honey Temple is a multi-day ritual gathering devoted to reviving a culture of Goddess remembrance. Through drum, voice, movement, ritual trance, and nourishment, women enter a living temple to metabolize emotions, awaken eros, and restore embodied belonging. Rooted in ancient feminine mystery traditions and held with spacious flow, the Honey Temple offers a place to be held, fed, and woven back into the collective web, leaving renewed, resourced, and reconnected to sisterhood, the living earth, and the indomitable pulse of life itself.

A film by Katy Haas & Megan Ruffe
Cinematography by Lindsay Taylor Jackson & Jared Ames

The border between the United States and Canada is the longest international border in the world. La Frontière is a poetic documentary portrait of Maine’s border with Canada, exploring the history and culture of these borderlands.

Runtime: 35min

This film has been supported by grants from the Points North Institute/TV5Monde, as well as the Keith Campbell Family Foundation, and is fiscally sponsored by UnionDocs, Inc.

Introducing the Honey Temple–a place that has always existed in the in-between, called in when the need for it is there. A place where women remember what it is to be part of one cloth– one earthly, singing, loving, nourishing body– offering our gifts for the filling of the well in ourselves, each other, and the world.

lone eagle/THE FOREST: Coyote Makes a World

lone eagle/THE FOREST: Coyote Makes a World

As the central figure within Indigenous storytelling traditions of the Interior Northwest, Coyote navigates the tenuous and tumultuous present in Coyote Makes a World, a collaborative multimedia project between storyteller/vocalist čnaq’ymi (lone eagle) and The Forest, a cooperative percussion ensemble featuring Gustavo Aguilar, Leah Bowden, Andrew Drury, and Michael Wimberly.

Centered on stories that embody the qualities of long held Native storytelling traditions, here Coyote encounters the contemporary crises of our times, oblivious to the consequences of his actions in ways that are familiar, unsettling, and often humorous. Set within a dynamic rhythmic landscape layered with songs and mesmerizing vocalizations, Coyote Makes a World reflects the world we’ve made while taking the listener to places they’ve never before encountered.
